We are currently hiring a PIP Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor to lead Stage 1 & 2 training sessions delivered by PFAS as directed by the Prime Contract Holder (PCH) and DWP.
As a PIP Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor you will provide an engaging and supportive learning environment, enabling trainees to be successful in training, identify any additional learning needs & implement actions to support, and complete additional training as and when needed.
Part of your role will be to provide full and complete documentation to provide a clear handover to the Clinical Support Job Description Manager, and to carry out detailed Functional assessments and examinations, accurately interpreting and critically analysing all evidence to create a professional and concise report.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
* Candidate must hold one of the following qualifications and have a current and valid registration with the associated governing body without sanction.
• Qualified Chartered Physiotherapist or Qualified Occupational Therapist
• BSc or Qualified Paramedic • Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD only)
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• 2 years of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional delivering PIP assessment
• A broad clinical knowledge base.
• Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office Beneficial but not essential:
Previous experience delivering either face to face or virtual training
Salary £44,000 per annum
Location Hybrid (Redhill OR Eastbourne OR Brighton )
Permanent / Full time position
Hours 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
