Senior Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Chartered or near Chartered Civil Engineer to join our client's team in Welwyn Garden City. Their office is located just a couple minutes' walk from the mainline station and has plenty of parking spaces for those that drive! The office space itself is excellent and based on a large business park, with lots of natural light and great facilities.
The role:
As a consultancy they work on a variety of projects including residential, light industrial buildings such as warehouses, sheds and data centres for various big name clients.
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be leading an effective design team and supervising a range of infrastructure designs at various stages of the design process.
You will be responsible for producing and overseeing flood risk assessments, SuDs, pavement designs, as well as managing projects, and checking and preparing engineering reports, drawings and figures to a high standard.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience in sectional agreements including s278, s38, s104 and s106. In addition, you must be proficient with AutoCAD, Microdrainage and Civil 3D. It is desired to have proven management skills.
