Development Benefits We offer a full development programme, this includes, post grade university modules at Brighton University. Opportunities to develop skills in teaching on the introduction to Cardiology, to develop skills in co-ordinating the Cath labs and develop your skills with all the complex cases and structural heart work we are renowned for, and the opportunity to develop skills with patient first projects.
We are one of the largest Cath Lab Centres in the UK, and have a reputation worldwide for clinical, teaching and research excellence. The Cardiac Catheter Laboratory is part of a tertiary centre, which incorporates an extensive referral area, offering a 24 hour Primary Myocardial Infarction service. The Cath labs consists of 3 Cath Labs, 1 hybrid theatre and has been steadily expanding over the years achieving a high profile within the organisation due to the provision of excellent standards of patient care and the delivery of a world class service. As a large tertiary centre we offer a large range of procedures, including complex pacing, EP and Structural heart.
