Job Description
Location: RAF Benson, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours
Primary Industry: Aerospace and Aviation
Job Duties:
1. Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and avionic systems on the Puma aircraft.
2. Conduct regular inspections and testing of aircraft components and systems.
3. Follow technical manuals and engineering instructions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues.
5. Document all maintenance activities and report any findings to the relevant authorities.
Required Qualifications:
1. Valid certification or qualification in aircraft maintenance engineering.
2. Knowledge of mechanical and avionic systems in aircraft.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Education:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Additional certification or training in aircraft maintenance preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong understanding of aircraft systems and components.
2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
