We are passionate about creating and maintaining clear operational guidance for stores to support with the delivery of healthcare services. As an Operations Assistant, you will report to the Pharmacy Operations Manager, and work in conjunction with a small team of Pharmacy Operation Assistants and Leads, whilst working closely with central, store, and field teams. The Pharmacy Operations Assistant will be part of a fast-paced team supporting the Pharmacy Operations leads who manage a range of Pharmacy services and processes for our stores. Key responsibilities will include Managing inboxes and responding to queries from stores Producing and analysing reports and data from multiple systems to support stores to maximise performance, compliance and adherence to contractual requirements Supporting the Pharmacy Operations Leads with projects to include the creation and formatting of documents and guidance for new services Challenging current processes with a mindset of continuously improving to ensure that our stores have the most efficient operating platform Working closely with third parties to support high-standard delivery across stores Supporting with system administration What you’ll need to have Proactive and keen to learn and develop Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships quickly with stakeholders Be organised, able to multi-task and prioritise their workload Problem solver with good attention to detail, even when under pressure Confident to challenge and use their initiative to create and/or seek solutions Good knowledge of Excel, with the ability to report and analyse data and create spreadsheets on demand Good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Is a team player, supports colleagues and is engaged in delivering the company plan It would be great if you also have Knowledge of pharmacy operations or experience working in a pharmacy Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and more.
