Job Description
We are excited to be looking for aRoom ServiceWaiter/Waitressto join our team. We are looking for someone who is experienced in this field and above all, we want someone who enjoys being part of team, working with our clients and is enthusiastic, creative and passionate about what they do!
NOTE: we are looking for talents who can work night shifts (up to 3am)
Your role will cover the following responsibilities:
* Key Responsibilities:
Order Taking:
+ Answer room service calls promptly and courteously.
+ Accurately take and record guest orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Service Preparation:
+ Prepare food and beverage items for delivery according to hotel standards.
+ Ensure all orders are complete and presented appealingly.
Delivery:
+ Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a timely manner.
+ Set up trays or tables as needed, ensuring cleanliness and presentation.
Guest Interaction:
+ Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing any guest inquiries or requests.
+ Handle payments and process charges accurately.
Inventory Management:
+ Assist in maintaining inventory of room service supplies and report shortages.
+ Ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
Compliance:
+ Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures.
+ Follow hotel policies and procedures for room service.
Collaboration:
+ Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
+ Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping for timely deliveries.
Problem Solving:
+ Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
+ Ensure guest satisfaction by following up on service quality.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
+ Assist with clearing trays and returning items to the kitchen after service.
+ Maintain cleanliness of room service areas and equipment.
Additional Duties:
+ Participate in training and development sessions as required.
+ Stay informed about menu changes and special promotions.
Requirements:
o Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
o Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Qualifications
Work Experience
* Previous experience in a 4-5 star hotel in the F&B Department
* Able to finish at 3am.
* Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
* Proven commercial acumen through previous roles.
* Fluent in English - spoken & written.
