Base location: Hybrid* with travel across Leicester and Leicestershire and a base at either Hinckley, Coalville or Narborough
Contract: Fixed term up to 31/01/2027
*Your primary residence must be in England or Wales. For contractual purposes, "home" is the address listed on your job application. Any changes to this address, whether permanent or temporary, must be approved in advance by your line manager. This role is primarily home based, however, some travel may be required for meetings and team activity. You will be informed in advance regarding any travel requirements. This includes but is not limited to meetings held quarterly or once in six months without any specific time set. Please be advised that we’re not considering fully remote posts for this role.

About the role:
As a Leicestershire Energy Support Adviser, you’ll be at the forefront of tackling fuel poverty, providing support to individuals and families across the region. You’ll deliver expert energy advice through a variety of channels, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
We invest in your success.You’ll receive comprehensive in-house adviser training and support to achieve the Level 3 City & Guilds Energy Awareness qualification (or we welcome it if already held).
Your day-to-day
You’ll empower people across Leicestershire to manage their energy costs and live more comfortably, providing advice and support, for example, helping families access grants and funding.
You’ll be our face in the community, delivering energy guidance in various settings, from local venues to residents’ homes, and at events.
You’ll play a key role in tackling fuel poverty, collaborating as part of a dedicated and supportive team, and following our established quality standards.
