Overview: We are seeking dedicated and passionate in-person GCSE Tutors for Maths, English, and all three Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to join our team in London. This role involves providing face-to-face tutoring to help students excel in their GCSE examinations, build confidence, and overcome academic challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-person tutoring sessions for GCSE students in Maths, English, and/or Sciences in various locations across London.
* Tailor your teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student, ensuring they understand key concepts and are prepared for their exams.
* Develop customised lesson plans and engaging learning activities that align with the GCSE curriculum.
* Regularly assess student progress and adjust your teaching strategies accordingly to maximize improvement.
* Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for development.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and engage actively in their learning.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year tutoring experience in GCSE subjects (Maths, English, and/or Sciences).
* Strong academic background with top grades in the relevant subjects at GCSE, A-Level, or university.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, but undergraduates currently completing a degree are also welcome to apply.

* A passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
* Ability to provide thorough identity checks and references (all our tutors are DBS approved).
* Ability to provide two references, which can be from former lecturers, employers, or former clients.

Pay: £20.00-£40.00 per hour
