Our client is a global leader in its field, with a keen focus on sustainability. The Birmingham site is one of its flagship operations, with a long, strong track record in providing services to a range of customers, including some of the biggest brands in food, healthcare and hospitality. With a strong management team in place, it now seeks to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of a lead General Manager with commercial account management and operations experience.
Driven and motivated, you will progress the business through commitment to circular services, CSR and net zero targets whilst adding commercial growth.
You will move seamlessly between board meetings, in which you're analysing and discussing your P&L, and the operational shopfloor.
You should be able to demonstrate sound commercial acumen and a successful track record in an equivalent position. You will be very comfortable with operational systems and processes, including effective logistics, and have consistently delivered profitable growth in a business environment.
