The company is expanding its team and looking for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to and lead projects.
Role Overview:
As a Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of mechanical engineering systems for a wide range of building projects. You will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and managing mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy systems. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to lead teams and collaborate with other disciplines. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the design and operational performance of the buildings we work on, with a focus on energy-efficient, sustainable solutions.

Requirements:
* Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering within building services, ideally with a consultancy background. Experience in managing large-scale projects and teams is essential.
* Technical Skills:
o Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and sustainability solutions.
o Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, or IES) is essential.
o Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards (e.g., Part L, BREEAM, etc.).
* Sustainability Focus: Experience in delivering sustainable, low-carbon, and energy-efficient building services designs.
* Client-Facing Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience in managing client relationships and delivering projects to high standards.
