WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY
The Junior Project Manager is a vital member of Camlin's Project Management Team, instrumental in developing project plans and supporting project execution through all stages of the project life cycle.
At Camlin, our Project Management Team oversees a diverse array of projects, ranging from product development (encompassing both hardware and software) to internal business transformation initiatives. As a Junior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to support and manage a variety of compelling projects, contributing to our mission of engineering better futures.
As a Junior Project Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Oversee Project Life Cycle:
1. Manage projects through all phases, ensuring successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Schedule Development and Management:
1. Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, focusing on the critical path to ensure adherence to company procedures and best practices.
Progress Reporting:
1. Prepare monthly progress reports covering cost, quality, schedule, and risk assessments.
Stakeholder Presentations:
1. Create and deliver project-related presentations to stakeholders, clearly communicating status and key issues.
Risk and Issue Management:
1. Develop and maintain the project Risk Register and Issues Log, ensuring that mitigation strategies are effectively implemented and tracked.
Lessons Learned Documentation:
1. Maintain a Lessons Learned Log, capturing valuable insights and experiences from each project phase.
2. Collaborate with Programme and Project Managers, providing necessary support and assistance to ensure project success.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
1. Knowledge and experience of project management methodology.
2. Experience of managing cross functional teams.
3. Experience in presenting to/ negotiating with stakeholders.
4. Experience of using project management platforms such as MS-Project.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Be an EU passport holder.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Any relevant professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile, Scrum would be advantageous.
