Job Description JOB TITLE: Bereavement Specialist SALARY: £26,990 LOCATION: Villiers House, Douglas. Isle of Man HOURS : Full-time – Reduced hours will be considered. WORKING PATTERN : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our office in Douglas, Isle of Man. As Bereavement Specialist you'll be providing a high level of service by supporting customers, their family members, solicitors, and front-line colleagues through the bereavement process. Customer service and quality are key, so you'll be aiming to exceed customer expectations through your interactions with them. You’ll be required to communicate in a compassionate and professional way by either telephone or written/email communication. You'll maintain accurate records of the work you undertake and will update personal details within our core banking systems. You'll adapt to change and display LBG Values. Over time, the responsibilities of the role would be extended to representative access, including Third Party and Power of Attorney requests. What you’ll need An ability to quickly build relationships; to understand and meet your customer's needs. Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer care. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and focus on quality ensuring a right first time approach. The desire to deliver service excellence, and a passion for both innovation and continuous improvement. Great organisation and time management skills to ensure a balanced approach, supporting delivery of customer needs and business area objectives. To take ownership of your own development to build upon skills and knowledge. And any experience of these would be really useful Experience of dealing with customers, either in Banking or with another Financial service provider. Previous experience in a similar role.
