Job Type: Contract (until end of March 2025) Hourly rate: £13.74 per hour Hours: Full-time We are seeking a Recruitment and Talent Advisor to support our Place directorate and Citywide services in volume recruitment. This role is crucial in expediting the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth transition for both services and candidates. The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will be supported by other Advisor colleagues and a Team Leader. Day-to-day of the role: • Provide high-quality advice and support on recruitment matters including resourcing, terms and conditions, candidate sourcing, talent pipelines, onboarding, and succession planning. • Support managers with tools and advice to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment and onboarding process while adhering to safeguarding practices. • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from advertising to onboarding, ensuring candidates feel valued and are kept up to date at every step. • Ensure the recruitment process is fair, inclusive, and compliant with equality legislation. • Advertise role opportunities via social media and collaborate with managers on campaign opportunities to reach a wider pool of talent. • Produce accurate and timely employment contracts, ensuring compliance with employment legislation. • Identify areas for continuous improvement in recruitment processes and actively work to implement these. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Good communication skills and a willingness to work closely with services, managers, and candidates. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and MS Teams. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage strict deadlines. • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional.
