Requirement: My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects in commercial, office, and industrial spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading the build and fit-out of various construction projects. This role requires strong project management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate project milestones.
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Manage and mitigate project risks, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
Day-to-day
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute construction projects.
* Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
* Managing project documentation, contracts, and change orders.
* Analysing project performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Trade Background.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required.
* Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
