The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of booking schedules for a centralised service, working collaboratively with all divisions to ensure all national targets and departmental KPIs are delivered.
They will contribute to the continual review and evaluation of all administrative systems, procedures, and associated policies to facilitate improvements and developments.

Main Duties of the Job
* Operationally lead the department's systems: recruitment and selection, staffing admin team.
* Daily management of staff to ensure effective administrative running of the service in terms of both systems and equipment: implementation and maintenance of office/related issues.
* Using initiative to ensure patients are booked in line with local and national access targets.
* Support the Elective Access Manager to provide a professional, efficient, and effective centralised booking service for a variety of outpatient/inpatient schedules, ensuring KPIs are maintained.
* Complete daily reviews of booking utilisation across the three divisions, ensuring they align with trust expectations and standards.
* Identify where capacity cannot be utilised and escalate as appropriate.
* Maintain and update reports within the department.
* Undertake IPDR and 121 sessions within the Access Team.
