If you're ready for a new challenge and have the passion to manage a service for children within a residential home, please read on. Working for an established provider of care and support to children and young people, we are seeking a skilled Children Registered Manager.
The opportunity:
1. Registered Children Home Manager to oversee and lead a team within a 3-bedded service for children aged between 8-18.
2. To ensure the effective delivery of care and support to the children and young people.
3. Overall responsibility to ensure the service meets the requirements and is in line with all OFSTED regulations.
4. Work with the team to ensure that referrals and applications are made as and when necessary and within set time frames, e.g., safeguarding and Ofsted notifications.
5. Support managers to identify staff members with Key Worker responsibilities.
6. Undertake regular reviews of the service and work in line with company policies and procedures.
The ideal person:
1. You will ideally have experience of working within a similar role as a manager and have sound knowledge of the Ofsted legislation.
2. Your ability to lead and develop a team to ensure the safety of the children is paramount.
3. You will have excellent communication, organisational, and team-playing skills and have the passion to work with and make a difference in the lives of children and young people.
4. You will be flexible and ideally be a car driver with the Level 5 qualification or willing to complete this.
