BMC Recruitment Group have been retained by a leading FMCG organisation to recruit a warehouse manager to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This is the ideal opportunity for an existing warehouse manager who is looking for a new challenge. The role is responsible for leading the transition of the organisations existing warehouse operations to a newly established facility. The focus of this role is full set up and recruitment of the new facility. Optimising current warehouse management system. Overseeing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, compliance with Health and Safety and overall efficiency of supply chain distribution. Conduct performance reviews and training sessions to upskill the warehouse team. Track and report on KPI’s. Establish and implement SOPs. Oversee inventory control processes ensuring accurate stock levels. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and training sessions for staff. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies. Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and safe handling procedures. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure on time, in full (OTIF) deliveries. Align warehouse operations with sales forecasts and seasonal demand trends Troubleshoot supply chain disruptions. Identify cost saving and efficiency opportunities within warehouse. You will need: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse within FMCG, wholesale or distribution industries. Proven experience of optimising and managing a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulation, compliance and best practice. Proven track record of managing diverse teams as well as coaching and leadership skills. Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse workflows and inventory control.
