As a Maths and English Tutor, you will deliver personalised lessons designed to meet each student's unique needs. Whether supporting students with core skills or preparing them for exams, you will play a crucial role in helping them reach their full potential. The role may also involve working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), where your patience and adaptability will be invaluable.
This is a flexible, part-time role with hours ranging from 1 to 30 per week, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your availability and lifestyle.
- Deliver engaging and structured one-to-one tutoring in Maths and English.
- Adapt lessons to address individual learning needs and goals.
- Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN where applicable.
- Track and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents or carers.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to build student confidence.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Maths or English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
