Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet to join the team at a growing and successful small animal practice in the City of Norwich area, Norfolk.
* Excellent permanent opportunity - 40 hour week with a weekend rota and no OOH.
* Practice is purpose built with brand-new ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, multi-parameter units for both theatres and full in-house lab.
* Varied surgical and medical caseload and growing loyal client base.
* Exciting opportunity for an experienced or senior Vet to progress into leadership or a Head Vet looking for a new challenge.
* Role requires strong clinical skills and ability to lead, mentor and manage a team.
* Specific interests are encouraged and post graduate qualification or certificate supported.
* Join a supportive, experienced Vet team with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology.
* CPD funding and paid professional memberships.
* Well located to enjoy city life of Norwich and close to beautiful Norfolk beaches and stunning scenery of The Norfolk Broads.
* Relocation package and visa sponsorship available.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
* Registered with the RCVS.
* Experienced Vet with strong clinical skills.
* Able to lead, mentor and manage a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
