As a Recovery Worker, you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, providing structured brief interventions and/or other psychosocial interventions in compliance with our delivery model, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

Job responsibilities
Our service in Dundee is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you.
This role will support our GP Shared Care Service. This service is available to patients registered to certain GP practices and who are prescribed opioid replacement therapy. GP Shared Care means the support will be provided by the GP and a Recovery Worker from With You.
Please note for this role SVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care is required for SSSC registration purposes. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months.

Qualifications
* Attained SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent
* Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements
* You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced PVG check.
