Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Prosthetist to provide and promote a high standard of Prosthetic care and treatment across a range of amputation levels. This position is for the Lead Clinician at our Colchester Branch three days per week with the other days working at the Billericay Branch. As a prosthetist you will be required to act in a professional manner at all times to other members of the team, the patients and their families. Main duties of the job Assess, measure, cast, fit, deliver, supply, review and adjust prosthesis as required across a range of amputation levels, both upper and lower extremity. Cast and rectify models in a timely fashion using both traditional methods and CADCAM where appropriate. Manage the patients case, including patient expectation, ensuring the individuals needs are respected and ensuring the patient is informed throughout the process with clear explanations of proposed interventions. Manage stock and communication for the Colchester Branch Maintain good knowledge of available components and understand their function.
