Are you a recent UK based university graduate with a passion for supporting young people, and a desire to gain first-hand pastoral support experience as a Graduate Intervention Assistant?
i-teachers are working with a brilliant secondary school located in the Birmingham (B6) area who are eager to add a warm, outgoing and proactive Graduate Intervention Assistant to their brilliant Pastoral support department in a full-time role for the academic year.
In this role as a Graduate Intervention Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide detailed 1:1 academic, social and emotional support to students with complex social, emotional and mental health issues outside of the classroom environment in a full-time role for the academic year.

Graduate Intervention Assistant – Role Information:
1. Providing 1:1 academic, social and emotional support to secondary students
2. Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs
3. Tailoring support sessions based around current curriculum topics
4. Creating and sustaining warm and supportive school environment
5. Paid £450 per week during term time – September 2024 to July 2025
6. Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
7. Monday to Friday role based in one secondary academy

Graduate Intervention Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
9. Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree
10. Prior experience working with children or young people
11. Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
12. Passionate about the development of all children
13. Strong organisation and communication skills
14. Ability to build rapport with young people
