Working life
As a Children's Speech and Language Therapist, you'll:
* Provide a wide range of clinical assessments
* Deliver interventions determined by specialist care pathways
* Offer direct support to children, young people, and their families
* Utilise technology for record updates
The service aims to provide an excellent standard of care across Northamptonshire. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and balance clinical appointments with other responsibilities.

You will have an induction period with shadowing and joint sessions, along with regular peer group supervisions.

Person specification
Experience
* Relevant work experience with a range of client groups
* Knowledge of assessment and therapy approaches
* Knowledge of SLT assessments and interventions
* Understanding of record keeping and safeguarding principles
Skills and knowledge
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
* Knowledge of therapeutic approaches for children
Qualifications
* Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree or equivalent
* Registered with the Health Care Professions Council
* Member of the RCSLT
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
