Are you an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a passion for residential construction? We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a dynamic team on a brand-new residential development in Margate.
The Role
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations.
Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
Conduct site inductions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Handle minor issues and escalate major challenges as needed.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in residential construction projects, ideally on new build developments.
Qualifications: Valid CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification are essential.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Knowledge: Familiarity with construction health and safety standards.
