Recruitment & Workforce Coordinator
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Location: Remote (with travel to Hertfordshire office 1-2 times per month)
Contract: FTC 3 Months (with a view to becoming permanent)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week, 8:30 AM or 9:00 AM start)
Are you an organised and proactive professional with a talent for workforce planning? We’re looking for a Recruitment & Workforce Coordinator to help streamline staff scheduling, reduce agency spend, and ensure efficient workforce utilisation across multiple locations.
The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff schedules across multiple sites, ensuring shifts are covered with internal employees before engaging with external agencies.
* Collect, review, and analyse weekly staffing schedules
* Identify gaps and redeploy internal employees where possible
* Maintain and update scheduling systems to ensure accurate data
* Liaise with managers to understand workforce needs and minimise agency reliance
* Build relationships with employees, ensuring they are aware of shift opportunities
* Work closely with HR and recruitment teams to track vacancies and upcoming needs
* Ensure compliance with company policies, working time regulations, and contractual obligations
* Manage relationships with pre-approved agencies when external cover is required
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in workforce planning, recruitment coordination, or scheduling
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident working across multiple systems and databases
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A problem-solving mindset and ability to influence managers to optimise internal resources
