There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at St Leonards Hospital.
This post is 12 hours, from 5.00pm till 8:00pm.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward-based environment and also non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

To support the Facilities Supervisor in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented and maintained.
Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, and use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.
This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills, and the ability to use your own initiative.
Good pay rates, 27 days annual leave per year to start plus bank holidays and weekend enhancements if required.
