Court of Protection Solicitor / Paralegal
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
On a typical day, my time is divided between working on Court of Protection, Mental Health, and Community Care matters. Typically, I will be drafting documents, attending meetings, or out and about visiting clients in different settings. I enjoy the separation this brings to my days, and I always feel I am working on something different.
With these client groups, it can occasionally be difficult to establish rapport and form good working relationships, so it is essential you are able to be adaptable. Whilst we face some challenges, it is always very rewarding when your client begins to trust you and you can work together toward achieving the outcome they desire. No two days are the same, and that is why this kind of work feels right for me.
