About the Role
As an EC&I Team Leader at FCC Environment, you will play a crucial role in managing and supervising the engineering resources on site. Your responsibilities will include prioritising and planning preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance across all areas of the process to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Team to maintain plant availability and performance, supporting planned outages and overseeing improvements to the site’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will also provide leadership and guidance to ensure that maintenance activities align with operational and safety goals.
This is a full-time role (5 days per week).
What Are We Looking For?
To thrive in this role, you will need:
1. Technical Expertise – A strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) maintenance, ideally within a process, power plant, or heavy industrial environment.
2. Leadership Experience – Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
3. Problem-Solving Skills – The ability to diagnose and resolve complex engineering faults, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient plant operation.
4. CMMS & Maintenance Planning – Experience with maintenance management systems and the ability to drive improvements in asset reliability.
5. Health & Safety Focus – A strong commitment to ensuring a safe working environment, with knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
6. Flexibility & Responsiveness – Willingness to be part of an out-of-hours response team (1 in 4 weeks), acting as the key contact for the Operations Shift Manager.
7. Qualifications – Ideally, an HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
