This part-time, temporary position will run through July and/or August 2025, with a commitment of 3 days per week. About the role Location: Oxford Start: July 2025 Reports to: Website Marketing Manager Working pattern: July and/or August 2025, with a commitment of 3 days per week Salary: £12.21 per hour About the Role As a Website Intern, you will support the development and improvement of our website. You’ll work on a variety of tasks, including keyword research, competitor analysis, writing blog content, and supporting content audits. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing and SEO while working alongside our experienced web and marketing team. Main Responsibilities: Conducting keyword research to support blog and SEO strategies (training provided) Performing competitor and sector research to identify top-performing topics, keywords, and on-site features (e.g., search tools, comparison tables, filters) Writing blog articles based on clear briefs and guidance from the team Sourcing relevant images to accompany both new and existing articles, using our internal image library and approved resources Reviewing website pages to suggest suitable images from our internal image library (no uploading required) Auditing existing articles to suggest appropriate CTAs (e.g., Apply Now, Subscribe) Researching competitor and sector websites to identify case study examples, gathering relevant facts and suggesting potential case study formats for Oxford Summer Courses Organising existing student testimonials by reviewing each and matching it to the most relevant subject or course Assisting with internal content documentation and research tasks as needed What we are looking for: You might be studying marketing or a related subject, or simply have a strong interest in starting a career in digital marketing Some awareness or interest in topics like SEO, blog writing, or online research Good attention to detail and organisational skills Clear written communication and a willingness to improve your writing through feedback A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine curiosity about how websites grow and improve Ability to follow guidance and manage your time independently What is in it for you: A hands-on learning experience with support and mentoring A friendly and collaborative team environment Exposure to widely used tools and techniques in SEO and website optimisation A chance to develop skills that are valuable across marketing, publishing, and communications The opportunity to contribute to the growth of an award-winning education company Training and professional development 25 days annual leave (pro rata) Flexible and hybrid working within the operational needs of the role Excellent team culture Application Details Deadline: We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis before this end date, early application is encouraged.
