The Norsea Terminal is currently recruiting for Shift Process Operators (contract positions) – Start date: August 2025. We are currently recruiting Process Shift Operators for our Teesside facility. The position will be a contract role working on site for NES Fircroft. Full site-specific training will be provided. As a member of the Operations team, you will operate the process areas in a safe, environmentally conscious, and efficient manner, adjusting and monitoring plant equipment to pre-set targets. You will work predominantly outside within the process areas which will involve amongst other tasks working at heights, checking, and preparing equipment for maintenance and recommissioning following the ISSoW process. As part of the role, you will be required to respond to Emergency incidents as required under the guidance of Incident Controller/Team Leader. Excellent communication skills are needed to ensure precise relay of information to other team members based in the control room. Detailed procedures and work instructions are expected to be followed to complete safety critical tasks. Your capability and desire to do the job is what we’re looking for. Working a shift pattern, you’ll need to be physically able to climb around the plant. You will also need to use your practical problem-solving, job organisational skills and communication to demonstrate a strong team approach to your work and show that you are able to follow our strict safety policies and operating procedures. Requirements • Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Apprenticeship or one of the below: - Essential • NVQ level 3 in Process Plant Operation or equivalent • Level 3 Diploma in Process Technology (0610) • C&G in Process Plant Operation or equivalent • Experience as an operator – Essential • Petrochemical plant experience – Essential • Knowledge of ISSoW system – Desirable • Full valid driving licence - Essential • Working at heights – Essential • Ability to wear Respiratory Protection Equipment - Essential
