Attendance Administrator Location: Cheltenham, UK Salary: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday Contract: 6-week contract starting in November We are looking for an efficient and organised Attendance Administrator to join our busy attendance office at a Cheltenham-based school. This role is perfect for someone with experience in a school environment who can manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and record student attendance accurately, following up on absences by contacting parents/guardians. Chase up on student attendance issues to ensure compliance with school policies. Prepare daily and weekly attendance reports for senior staff. Assist with general administration for both students and teachers, ensuring the office runs smoothly. Organise and coordinate cover for absent teachers, making appropriate arrangements to minimise disruption to classes. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies as required. Key Requirements: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 - £12.50.
