Position Description
Position Summary: The Administrative Project Coordinator provides support to the Cybersecurity Education Program’s special events and projects, including the coordination of grant activities, maintenance of the Center of Academic Excellence designation, event planning for students and the broader community, and creating and publishing digital content for blogs and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up administrative systems and project coordination tools.
* Coordinating and maintaining data, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress.
* Developing event concepts and plans.
* Producing and overseeing internal and external communications.
* Other administrative responsibilities that keep the program running smoothly.
Minimum Requirements
Education Required: Associate’s Degree.
Experience Required: 2-3 years of administrative support experience.
Skills and Characteristics Required:
* Proven experience with communications.
* Experience in web design and content creation.
* Experience in proofreading and editing.
* Solid understanding of project coordination principles.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
Primary Duties
Project Coordination:
* Coordinate electronic and verbal communication with participants and team members.
* Coordinate and maintain projects on Monday.com, MS Teams sites, and other tools for effective collaboration.
* Identify and define project requirements, scope, objectives, and timelines.
* Assist with project budgets and proposals.
* Drive projects forward to completion.
* Ensure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance tests.
Event Coordination:
* Plan and execute events throughout the year.
* Spearhead event marketing and communications.
* Ensure day-to-day logistics of events run smoothly.
Content Creation:
* Spearhead communications and publications for digital outlets.
* Develop and maintain an editorial calendar.
* Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms.
Communications:
* Oversee and manage internal communications.
* Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
* Assist in grant writing.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties
