We are working with an MGA based in Chelmsford who is part of a European Group that is rapidly expanding. They are seeking someone who would be pivotal within the business to work within the Bordereaux/Binder team. This role offers salary and commission share, making it lucrative for the successful applicant.
A cross-section of business includes Accident/Health, Property, and others:
* Tracking timely receipt of premium/risk bordereaux for all delegated underwriting arrangements in place, including contacting brokers for overdue or missing bordereaux and escalating to the Underwriting Manager or Operations Manager as appropriate.
* Undertaking monthly processing, tracking timeliness of premium/risk bordereaux submissions, and performing subsequent reporting on the performance of the underlying accounts.
* Identifying anomalies within the bordereau, liaising with brokers and underwriters, documenting findings, and amending entries in our systems if necessary.
* Assisting with the setup of cover holder/binder information onto the in-house bordereau management system using key details from the slip, ensuring accurate information upload for binders with multiple sections.
* Maintaining compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligations.
Understanding of the processes and procedures of the Lloyds marketplace is essential.
* Knowledge of binding authorities/bordereaux and cleansing/manipulating bordereaux data would be advantageous.
