The Job: MOT Tester
* Perform MOT tests on a range of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Inspect vehicle components including brakes, lights, steering, and tyres for functionality and safety.
* Diagnose faults and recommend necessary repairs or adjustments.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections and ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with regulations.
* Communicate findings clearly to customers, providing explanations of any issues discovered during testing.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
* Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOTs.
Job Experience: MOT Tester
* MOT Licence is essential in securing this position.
* Must have a full drivers licence with less than 9 points.
* Confident with mechanical vehicle repairs.
