Percival are excited to be working exclusively with Global Grooves to help them recruit for a new Head of Fundraising to join their team. This role will support their next period of development to bring fresh expertise and strategic thinking into the organisation, analysing new income opportunities and ensuring they are presenting a compelling case for support to existing and potential donors.
Since 2003, Global Grooves has brought inspirational Carnival practice from around the world into communities across the north of England and internationally. They are passionate about embracing authentic, diverse art forms with integrity and respect, and developing a distinctive UK Carnival aesthetic.
Job Title: Head of Fundraising
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (0.6 FTE to Full-time considered)
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Based: Hybrid, Mossley
In this role the candidate will work with their senior management team and board to help shape organisational strategy and align fundraising activity to meet ambitious goals. The post holder will lead on all large scale bids to core funders (e.g. Arts Council England; GMCA) and respond to tender opportunities, where appropriate opportunities are identified.
They are looking for a strategic fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing significant income through bid writing, tenders, partnerships and other income streams. The ideal candidate would have experience working with the Arts Council England and in putting together business cases for funders.
