Role: Mechanical Assembly Engineering Technician
Pharmsouth Ltd. design and build precision machinery which is sold worldwide.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has completed their apprenticeship and wants to move onto the next level.
Pharmsouth is a small friendly team where every effort counts. If you are looking to be involved in a workshop environment and be a vital member of the team, this could be for you. The work will involve building bespoke machines and precision mechanical devices.
Skills and experience required:
• Precision mechanical building - assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.
• Studying and interpreting technical drawings and documents, such as schematics and diagrams, required to complete tasks.
• Precision measuring.
• Modifying parts - some experience of turning and milling.
• Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
• Performing preventative maintenance, reporting and resolving assembly line issues.
• A conscientious approach with great attention to detail.
• Keeping the workspace clean.
• Good communication with all levels of staff.
• Self motivated.
Initially on a 3-month probationary period with the potential for a permanent position.
Full-time - 5 days per week (Mon-Fri).
Opportunity for immediate start for the right candidate.
