POST: Holiday Lets Accommodation Manager
LOCATION: All Blair’s Holiday Park, Portrush, including Castlewood Holiday Park, Antrim
TRAVEL: Travel will be required across all our holiday park locations - a company vehicle will be provided.
REPORTS TO: Head of Holiday Lets & Marketing
RESPONSIBLE TO: Managing Director
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Managing Director and Board of Directors
SALARY BAND: £30,000- £38,000* + company vehicle *pending on experience
The experienced post holder will be responsible for the efficient running of all Blair’s Holiday Park’s self-catering accommodation units and associated facilities.
You will manage highly successful guest arrival and departure days by ensuring the cleaning team is trained and motivated to consistently deliver high-quality customer service.
Through quality monitoring of cleanliness & maintenance, you will support your team to exceed our guests’ expectations by ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
You will maintain a recruitment plan to ensure that all key roles are filled and proactively support in the training and development of all team members, ensuring that all new team members receive a high-quality induction.
You will ensure your supply chain is effective and efficient, controlling stock such as linen, cleaning products, and equipment to ensure budgets are adhered to.
You will manage and motivate your team to deliver on our #Happystays ethos and be responsible for maintaining the standards set by the company, complying with all company health and safety policies.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housekeeping and/or cleaning management role within the hospitality & leisure sector or similar customer-focused service role.
* Experience of managing external supply chains.
* In possession of a full driving licence.
* Computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Methodical and organised approach.
* Ability to translate accommodation arrivals/departures into efficient cleaning programmes & work schedules.
* Flexible, adaptable, and motivational.
* Working understanding of cleaning health and safety policies and experience of delivering work-related risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
* Experience in database and booking systems.
* Experience of developing improvement and quality control plans and procedures.
* Knowledge of industry hygiene health and safety regulations.
* Experience of recruitment and selection of staff as well as monitoring staff performance.
