Be part of our growing rail team Your Role As part of a vibrant and growth area within the business, we are now adding to the rail team and recruiting for a Rail supervisor to support the Head of Rail Operations and Safety in achieving safety and performance targets. Providing direction on rail safety you will ensure that the business is working in accordance MOD GRRB, LRWI's, JMOW's and K&N airbrake regulations. You will additionally support with quality, Health and safety accepts. Your Responsibilities - Assist the National Rail Operation Manager (NROM) to maintain a strong safety culture within the rail team. - Support the NROM to ensure the safe working of the railway in accordance with the MOD GRRB, LRWI's, JMOW's and K&N airbrakeregulations. - Support the NROM with all aspects of rail that directly or indirectlyaffect operations i.e. infrastructure matters, locomotive servicingand wagon management. - Responsible for thepreparation of all time sheets for submission to the NROM for approval. - Support the NROM with the collation, preparation,and presentation of management information. - Support the NROM with QSHE related mattersincluding entries into QBT. - Assist the NROM with maintainingan overview of K&N national train performance. - Perform rail operating duties asrequired on a national basis. Your Skills and Experiences - Experiencein railway operations. Assessed as competent as T/C, driver, and shunter - GoodCommunication skills - written and verbal - Experience of dealing with Mainline Train Crews, Contract Repairs, FOC and Network Rail - Consultativeand collaborative approach Please be aware that by applying for this role, you are agreeing to participate in the employment screening process.
