\n\nTheir products are becoming more advanced and diagnostic, electric skills are highly desirable.\n\nResponsibilities of the Workshop Engineer: \n\nServicing and repair of material handling equipment.\nOrdering of parts as efficiently as possible & ensuring all stock levels/movement records are accurate & correct\nEnsure all paperwork is completed accurately & within the stipulated time period & with the relevant order numbers\nManage own work-in-progress\nMaintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner\nReport any unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately\nTo maintain familiarization with policies & procedures & adhere to these. E.g. IT Policy, absence policy, etc.\nAttend training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment \n\nRequirements of the Workshop Engineer: \n\nNVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance, Plant or similar is essential\nServed full apprenticeship\nWorkshop Engineers, Workshop Technicians, Vehicle Technicians, Master Technicians, Mechanics, Plant Fitters, Roadside Recovery, Agricultural Engineers, FLT Engineers are all considered\nTechnical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics is compulsory.
