We are seeking an experienced and well-connected commercial leader to spearhead our clients sales strategy within the aviation fuel industry. The ideal candidate will possess a robust network of contacts in this niche, with a proven track record of building relationships and securing agreements such as letters of intent (LOIs) with key stakeholders.
About the Client
The company focuses on producing sustainable aviation fuels with innovative technology. They are backed by the UK Government with grants and will be looking to complete an investment round in the near future.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Leverage your existing network to identify and engage potential clients and partners within the aviation fuel sector.
* Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders to promote trust and drive business growth.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet organisational objectives.
* Negotiation and Agreements: Lead discussions and negotiations to secure letters of intent and other preliminary agreements.
* Travel: Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and conferences across the UK and Europe.
* Market Insights: Provide insights into industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform company strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
* Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the aviation fuel industry and its key players.
* Network: Strong professional network in the aviation fuel sector, including airlines, airports, fuel suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in business development, sales leadership, and securing commercial agreements.
* Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as needed.
* Availability: Able to commit to working two days per week.
