Your role will include providing one-to-one and group support, helping students access the curriculum, and ensuring they feel safe, supported, and valued. You will work alongside the class teacher and other professionals to deliver tailored support, promoting independence and boosting student's confidence. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring each student can access the curriculum Foster a caring, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students feel safe and supported Encourage student's independence and assist with their personal and academic development Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners Support students with daily routines, including personal care where needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students Monitor and track student progress and report any concerns to the class teacher Maintain clear and open communication with students, staff, and parents What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a care background (ideal, but not essential) A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills A committed, enthusiastic, and courageous attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff A proactive and flexible approach to supporting the needs of individual students Experience in a classroom or educational setting (desirable but not necessary) A willingness to learn and grow in the role Why Join Us?
