About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Coach to join our RF Works team, supporting therapeutic, work-based, and life-skills activities for disabled and/or disadvantaged individuals who face barriers to meaningful employment and social engagement. This role also involves supervising RF Works Coaches, overseeing wellbeing and commercial operations, and ensuring compliance with company and commissioner standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, or supervising within a wellbeing or commercial setting A commitment to promoting inclusion, choice, and control for individuals with disabilities or disadvantages. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. An understanding of Health & Safety standards, safeguarding practices, and compliance frameworks. Ability to manage commercial operations. A flexible approach to working across various aspects of a social business.
Key Responsibilities
Managing Relationships
Develop effective relationships with individuals, their families, and associated professionals, such as social workers and support agencies. Systems and Standards Compliance. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all individuals, adhering to Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH and RIDDOR.
Conduct Quality Framework audits, including stocktakes and Health & Safety checks, reporting anomalies. Maintain confidentiality in line with Data Protection obligations. Supporting, Advising & Guiding. Provide guidance and support to RF Works Coaches and individuals, planning activities that align with identified wellbeing goals. Collaborate with the Supported Employment Coordinator to support progression into paid employment opportunities. Regularly review and document progress against individual support plans.
Coaching & Mentoring
Coach and mentor RF Works employees, conduct 1-2-1s and appraisals, and delegate tasks effectively. Managing Team and Individual Performance
Assume responsibility for operations when required and provide leadership in the absence of the RF Works Deputy Manager. Marketing/Business Development
Assist in implementing work-based activities related to commercial contracts, supporting business development objectives. You will report to the RF Works Manager and play a pivotal role in creating a safe, inclusive, and socially engaging setting while contributing to the enterprise’s commercial success.
