It’s a critical role that will see you working across a wide range of private and public sector clients, delivering impactful and effective mixed media campaigns. Company Union Job type Full time / Part time Location Edinburgh The pace of work can fluctuate from rapid-fire to mild coasting but in those rare, fallow times there will be opportunities to design and artwork internals comms, as well as those for external clients. CPD and your professional development is very important to us. As is flexibility. The role could be full time, or three to four days a week, depending on preference and other commitments. Print: You will have command of the full Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for preparing and finalising artwork for press, OOH and brochureware etc. You will be working as part of a team on a wide variety of projects from small amends and fast turnarounds to detailed print work. You must have the ability to multitask and always have a fierce pride in your output. It goes without saying that you will have a keen eye for detail and be able to follow brand guidelines and supplied specs from printers. Digital skills: You must be able to build and develop multi-platform digital ad banners (HTML5, Sizmek, Google Ads) ensuring accessibility standards are met. You will need to ensure all artwork, animations and interactions are optimised for digital platforms, taking into consideration file sizes, loading times, and platform specifications. Having knowledge of building digital banners in Google Web Developer would be a distinct advantage. As is knowledge of Figma. You will be an expert in Adobe Photoshop, and provide technical support to the design team, advising on best practices for digital artwork creation and optimisation. You will stay up-to-date with the latest digital design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
