WillmottDixon are looking to recruit a SHE Manager to join our central SHEteam to provide support within our London and the East region(Northern home counties East Anglia). This role will bepredominantly site based covering project sites across the regionwithin the region there is the flexibility to work from home someof the time when you are not site or officebased.
Candidatesshould ideally be able to monitor advise support enforce and reportupon standards of health safety and environment and compliance tostatutory and companyrequirements.
Themain role of a SHE Manager is to ensure our sites keep up to datewith current legislation and group policy and procedures and ensurethis is effectively communicated. You will also look for new andinnovative ways of working to improve Health Safety and Environmentperformance and ensure compliance with statutorylegislation.
Youwill comply with the duties and responsibilities set out in GroupHS&E policies ensure compliance across the company provideleadership and support to staff and supply chain on all suchmatters.
Allaccidents and incidents should be responded to within appropriatetimescales ensuring that internal and statutory notifications arein place which provide sufficient detail to protect our businessinterests and give an accurate account of the root cause of theaccident/incident along with details of correctiveaction.
Inaddition you will be responsible for promoting and encouragingexcellent standards and continuous improvement of health safety andenvironmental management within ourbusiness.
