Graduate Apprentice Finance Officer
Are you interested in a career in public finance, working in a fast-paced, dynamic role, with aspirations to be a future leader in public services? Sheffield City Council is looking for motivated and talented graduates to join our Finance and Commercial Services team.
The 3.5 year fully-funded Masters Level 7 Apprenticeship programme leads to a professional accountancy qualification with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), achieved alongside work placements across a range of Council finance teams to gain valuable, real life work experience.
The apprenticeship is a 3.5 year fixed-term training contract, transitioning into a permanent role in the Finance service upon successful completion of all elements of the qualification and apprenticeship.

Requirements:
7. Bachelor’s degree, three GCSEs, grades A-C (or grades 4 and up), and two A-Levels, grades A-C, or accepted equivalent (subjects must include Maths and English at either level).
8. Capable of producing a high standard of work in a fast-paced and changing environment
9. Aspire to fulfil the standards of the apprenticeship and qualification, managing both work and study to become a chartered public sector financial accountant
10. Able to work with a diverse range of individuals
