Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop robust, manufacturable design solutions with a strong mechanical engineering aptitude.
2. Utilise 3D CAD and analysis tools to create and assess component properties for optimal design (AutoCAD / Inventor).
3. Participate in all aspects of product design and development, including validation, type approval, and production support.
4. Work within a structured APQP new product development process.
5. Provide design and technical engineering support for existing products.
Requirements:
6. Proven experience as a Design Engineer within fast-paced Manufacturing environment
7. Degree qualified in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline
8. Experience with a variety of materials and metals.
9. Exposure to NPD projects
10. Competent use of GD& T / GPS would be desirable
Location: Rossendale
Permanent
Salary: £37k - £43k
Working Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, flexible.
