You will need to be reliable, flexible, and hard-working with excellent communication and IT skills. Delivery of deadlines is key to this role; you will be expected to work as a team member and also as an individual using your own initiative.
Manage and monitor patients through their treatment pathway ensuring compliance to RTT, cancer pathways and local waiting time standards.
Arranging minor oral surgery procedures within an appropriate time.
Work in a team based reception service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
Act as a key point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies.
Responsible for the day to day compiling of waiting lists, the co-ordination of scheduling patients and the effective utilisation of the minor oral surgery clinics.
To ensure this is appropriately managed this will require processing of complex and sensitive information.
The post holder will be required to manage waiting lists ensuring compliance with local and national targets and the Trust’s Patient Access Policy.
