The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control. As our Systems QA Engineer, you will support HID’s success by: Integrate all parts of HID’s PACS Portfolio and report on system performance. Maintain the Systems/Solution lab. Add new products or upgrades to the test bench. Create and run test plans to check system performance. Review plans and reports to improve the test bench. Run baseline tests to gather initial data. Analyse test data to see if it meets requirements. Create test reports for the Engineering/Program teams. Ensure test samples and equipment are ready. Attend regular meetings to report on test status. Work with other staff/teams to solve problems. Support the PACS Development Roadmap and related projects. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge principles, practices, and procedures over a wide range of PACS Systems and Solutions. Working knowledge of networking, switches, routers etc. Able to meet challenging deadlines. Agile Mindset Familar with operating systems, such as windows, android and IOS Your Experience and Education include: Possesses or working towards a degree or equivalent qualification or 3-5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position would ideally suit an Access Control or L3 Technical Support Engineer with extensive experience in scoping, installing, configuring, and supporting all aspects of Physical Access Control Systems under real world conditions. IT/IP Networking and associated technologies Lean and Agile methodologies, including SAFe Access Control management via Head-End or IAM Systems.
