The time of working is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:30 to 7:00. Later might be extended to 1.5hrs on the above days. Plus weekends are available as well if the post holder is happy to do so.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to an individual in a home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Support the client in following their care plans and maintaining their independence as much as possible.
3. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
4. Communicate effectively with the client‘s family and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
5. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any relevant observations.
6. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship.
7. Experience in Autism and learning difficulties essential.
8. Female support worker only.
Experience
1. Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Ability to understand and implement care plans.
3. A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting the client as needed.
