The Community Mental Health team at Gorwelion is looking to recruit a community practitioner working in the North Ceredigion area.
The successful applicant would be responsible for the care & treatment planning of those with mental health and emotional difficulties, assessment of individuals in acute distress, involvement in depot/clozapine clinics, and working closely with other teams within the directorate to contribute to a comprehensive care outcome.
The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.
Main duties of the job
Applicants will have significant experience working in an acute adult mental health setting and will require a sound knowledge of current issues pertaining to mental health, crisis intervention, and home treatment. Comprehensive assessment, risk assessment, and management skills within the context of CTP are essential, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to manage time and prioritise workload is fundamental to effective service delivery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Professional Qualification/Registration from a recognised body - i.e.: RMN, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker
* Post-basic education in the area of practice to postgraduate diploma level
